About Solar Cross
Visit the SolarCrossTemple.org website
Solar Cross is a Temple dedicated to pan-magical practice, worship, education, research and outreach. It welcomes Heathens, Witches, Ceremonial Magickians, Mystics and other sincere seekers.
Along with religious celebration and education, Solar Cross engages in service to humans, Nature, and the Gods. We do so through prison ministry, environmental work, and work with the homeless and poor. Our current fundraising campaign is Winter Fuel for Native Elders which has raised $1000 so far to provide propane for denizens of Rosebud and Pine Ridge reservations. To contribute, scroll up to the top of this page, or send payments to solarcrosstemple@gmail.com via paypal with the subject line “Donation for Winter Fuel Drive”.
Solar Cross Temple had begun fundraising to purchase a permanent temple and community space to house our research library and provide a physical forum for study and celebration. Given the current economic times, we have found that monetary community support for this is much slower than we had initially hoped. With this in mind, we are now focusing energy on various other projects that will hopefully – with energy, effort, and strong intention – provide a larger base of support and help to our spiritual communities.
Some other current projects are the new video series Fiat Lvx! which is currently in production, and one more series to come, Meetings with Masters. Along with the two video series, we are beginning two e-publishing imprints, LVX/NOX and Sunna Press. The line up for 2011 includes books from Kala Trobe, T. Thorn Coyle, Diana Paxson, and Shen-tat. Elemental Castings podcasts will continue on a monthly, rather than bi-monthly, basis. For more information on our publishing venture, please visit our Temple website.
Those who have donated to our cause so far, whether via the capital campaign or in sending money to Elemental Castings to fund Thorn’s podcast series, we thank you. The money raised for the building fund is still being held in a separate account, and continues to be added to as funds come in.
